(Spencer)– Spencer residents are being urged to participate in a housing survey. City Manager Kevin Robinson says the city has contracted with a Nebraska community planning and research consulting firm to conduct the survey…
“We strongly encourage everybody in the community to fill this out. It will give us a good grasp on the term affordable housing. It’s really a subjective term by community and we really want to hear back what the people in this community view as affordable housing, it’s a big component of this study, and the outcome will help the council plan for future housing developments and incentives.”
Robinson says the survey results will also play a key role in a Community Development Block Grant Relief Funds for a housing project.
The survey is available online and must be completed by March 27th. You can access the survey here. Hard copies of the survey are also available at Spencer City Hall.
