(Arnolds Park)– A local establishment has retained bragging rights to having the best burger in the Iowa Great Lakes Area. For the second consecutive year, The Ritz in Arnolds Park is the winner of the “Boji Burger Battle”. They went up against seven other lakes area restaurants in this year’s competition.
Officials with the Iowa Great Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce, which puts on the month-long event during February, says more than 1,100 burgers were sold during the contest, with the winner determined by public votes.
Runner-ups this year included The Peacock in 2nd place and Dudley’s Garage in 3rd place.
