(Lake Park) The Harris-Lake Park High School Music Department will be performing a variety of music selections during their annual show on Friday. Sally Jo Ites is the interim choir director at HLP…
“The band has combined the seventh through twelfth grades, so they’re going to be doing a piece from the movie How to Train Your Dragon, and that’ll be a lot of fun. The choir will come later in the program, and the choir is doing Broadway, country movie music. And so they have three selections. And then the vocal jazz group is also going to be doing a couple pieces. And then also in the mix is student selected solos and small groups. They chose their own literature and worked it up. And so that’ll bring a new, um, you know, genre of variety as well.”
The show starts at 7:00 on Friday and will be held in the HLP high school auditorium in Lake Park. General admission tickets for all seats will be $5 at the door and you can pay by cash or check only. Passes and credit cards will not be accepted.
