(Spencer)– Tree pruning operations will get underway this coming week in Spencer. City officials say it will be taking place east of Grand Avenue and north of East 4th Street. Crews will start Monday, February 2nd, on the north side of town and work their way south.
Trees located in the right-of-way, or that area between the sidewalk and curb, will be the primary focus by the contractor doing the work. City officials say there could be temporary road closures and that vehicles may need to be moved to provide access to specific trees.
The work is being funded through the Urban Forestry Management Plan and is scheduled to be completed by this coming March 31st.
