(Estherville)– The third show in the Performing Arts Series at the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center will be on Thursday February 12th. Pianist Peter Berg brings the Romance Revue to the stage. Jessi Strom, who is in charge of Promotions and Operations at the Performing Arts Center says they look forward to hosting Bergin for the first time…
“A solo piano player playing ragtime classics on stage. He’ll have a projector going as well, with some historic images to kind of go with the music. And yeah, I’m just, you know, talking to him. He’s very energetic and fun to talk to, and I know that he’s going to be educating us as well as entertaining us, and it’ll be a nice night, and we’ll have some food afterwards for people to visit and socialize after the show. And yeah, it’ll be a great night.”
Strom explains the show…
“It’s an upbeat, humorous take on Valentine’s Day, featuring ragtime versions of favorite American standards and original ragtime works from back in the day.”
