Iowa Great Lakes Fishing Club Spring Seminar Is February 5th

January 28, 2026

(Milford)– The Iowa Great Lakes Fishing Club holds its annual Spring Seminar Thursday, February 5th at Oakhill Outdoor in Milford. Club spokesman Paul Daniels says they’re excited about this year’s keynote speaker…

“Tom Lynn, very well known successful walleye fisherman. He actually won the National Walleye Tour Championship in 2024-2025 and was also the Walleye Angler of the Year those years, so really had a lot of recent success, seems to be a really entertaining guy from what we’ve seen following him on social media and what not, and we’re looking forward to having him there. He’s got a lot of knowledge about forward facing sonar, so people that come I think will be both entertained and then you’ll also get to learn a lot from him”

The evening will also feature a raffle and auction items.

Daniels says the event is open to members and non-members alike…

“You don’t have to be a member of the club although we encourage it, and if you’re already a member, you get in free. Non members if you don’t want to buy a membership, which the membership is $35 a year, covers a lot of different events throughout the year with us and includes a lot of food, etc. But for non members it’s $10, so pretty inexpensive to come. Membership is a family membership so bring your spouse and your kids and all that, they also get in free. Doors open at 5:00.”

Food will also be available.
