(Lakefield, Mn.)– A two-vehicle collision Saturday evening at the intersection of Highway 86 and Jackson County Road 34 south of Lakefield sent one person to the hospital.
The Minnesota State Patrol says 31-year-old Christopher Headley of Springtown, Texas, was driving a 2016 GMC pickup westbound on County Road 34 and 27-year-old Emma Corcoran of North Liberty, Iowa, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Cruze southbound on Highway 86 when the two collided.
Headley sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to the Worthington hospital. No injuries were reported to Corcoran or to a passenger in her vehicle.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and Lakefield Fire Department assisted on the scene.
The collision took place around 6:18 pm Saturday.
