Little Rock Woman Facing Burglary & Theft Charges

(Little Rock)– A Little Rock woman has been arrested on burglary and theft charges.

Court documents say 47-year-old Jennifer Vasquez was taken into custody on Wednesday of this week. She’s accused of entering her estranged husband’s home without permission and stealing items belonging to his girlfriend.

The complaint alleges the break-in happened on December 14th. Court documents say Vasquez forcibly entered the residence through the front door and allegedly stole a bag or suitcase and clothing, valued at at least $845.

Vasquez was charged with third-degree burglary, a class D felony. If convicted, she could face up to five years in prison. She also faces a misdemeanor charge of third-degree theft. Vasquez faces a preliminary hearing on the charges on January 20th, 2026.

At last report, she remained in the Lyon County Jail in Rock Rapids in lieu of bond.
