(Orleans)– Some improvements are being planned for the Isthmus Park area on the north shore of East Lake Okoboji, just south of the fish hatchery in Orleans.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources has put out a request for bids for tree and brush cutting, stump grinding and shoreline improvements, including rip rap, and turf grass seeding.
The DNR is currently accepting bids which will be opened January 22nd. Plans call for the work to be completed by this coming June 26th.
