(Estherville)– The Estherville RAGBRAI Committee has distributed more than $32,000 in proceeds from this past summer’s event to a number of causes in that community.
Contributions were made to the Estherville Fire Department, Estherville Police Department, the Emmet County Sheriff’s Office, Emmet County Emergency Management, the Estherville Ambulance, the city of Estherville for the River Recreation Enhancement Project, the ELC Schools Food Pantry and the Upper Des Moines Opportunity Food Pantry.
The revenue was generated by events that were held during an overnight stop of RAGBRAI in Estherville this past July.
