(Estherville)– The Board of Trustees of Iowa Lakes Community College held an organizational meeting this past Tuesday.Trustees re-elected Arden Kinnander as Board President and Bob Jennings as Vice President with Mischelle Dahna being reappointed as Board Secretary and Jeff Soper Treasurer. Scott Bauermeister will continue as the college’s legal representative.
Trustees also this week approved a $20,000 scholarship gift from Polaris to support students in the Powersports program along with a $10,000 scholarship from Avangrid for the Wind Energy and Turbine Technology program. A donation of a miter system from Solution Mavericks, LLC was also received for the Construction Technology program.
