(Spirit Lake)– While your trip to that Thanksgiving dinner shouldn’t be much of an issue, the trip home this weekend could be.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for the entire region. It goes into effect Friday afternoon and runs through Saturday evening. Snowfall amounts of 6 to 10 inches can be expected. The weather service says that could make travel very difficult, if not impossible. Forecasters say that will especially be the case Saturday.
Anyone with travel plans over the weekend should closely monitor the forecast and be prepared to make alternate arrangements.
