(Rock Rapids)– The Iowa Department of Transportation is taking public comment on plans to replace a culvert on Highway 9 about two miles east of Rock Rapids, or about 1.4 miles west of Lyon County Road K60.
Officials with the District 3 Iowa D.O.T office in Sioux City say construction is scheduled to start in the late spring of 2027 with completion in late 2027. The project will result in the closure of the highway in that area with traffic being detoured.
