(Jackson, Mn.)– A Truman, Minnesota man faces charges stemming from an incident this past Friday in Jackson.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says a deputy was attempting to pull over a vehicle around 1:44 pm in the parking lot at the Jackson Inn when the vehicle took off. The driver then jumped out of the moving vehicle which continued into the Good Stop Gas Station parking lot where it collided with a parked semi. The driver of the vehicle being pursued then fled on foot into the Jackson Inn Motel where he was later located and arrested.
26-year-old Christopher James Baer was charged with fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle and fleeing a police officer on foot. Baer was also being held on a felony warrant from Martin county for 1st degree arson.
