(Spencer)– The city of Spencer is accepting applications for a program that provides reduced rates for solid waste (garbage) for those meeting eligibility requirements. Low to moderate families may apply for the program now through December 5th by stopping in at Spencer City Hall or by calling city offices at 712-580-7200 to obtain an application form. Those who are qualified and accepted into the program will see the reduction come in the form of a rebate in December, 2025, on their utility bill.
