(Arnolds Park)– The Okoboji Foundation’s Youth in Philanthropy students have officially launched their fundraising campaign. This year’s goal is $80,000, the highest in the program’s 16-year history.
Over the next four months students will seek support from their families, friends, businesses and community members to help reach that goal. Funds raised will directly support local nonprofit organization’s through Youth in Philanthropy’s competitive grant process in the spring.
Anyone wishing to make a contribution to the initiative may do so by sending a check to the Okoboji Foundation at P.O. Box 593, Okoboji, Ia…51355. Include the student’s name in the memo line. Donations can also be made online at okobojifoundation.org/yip.
