(Spencer)– An investigation Tuesday into what was reportedly a burglary in Clay county landed a man in jail on drug charges. The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to an address in the 2700 mile of 190th Avenue after getting a report of a burglary that took place in the overnight hours.
Upon arriving deputies observed signs of possible drug use and smelled marijuana. A search warrant was then obtained and executed resulting in them finding marijuana, drug paraphernalia and several firearms. It was also determined a burglary had NOT occurred.
Todd Miller of Spencer was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana. He was booked into the Clay County Jail.
