(Spirit Lake)– Another reminder of this Sunday’s grand opening of a new state-of-the-art exhibit at the Dickinson County Museum in Spirit Lake. As we reported previously, it’s centered on the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad Depot constructed in 1884 and features several interactive displays. A special event for donors will be held at 1:00 pm Sunday. Museum Director Cole Clawson says that will be followed by a program at 3:00 pm with doors to the new exhibit opening to the public shortly after that…
Clawson says the project was several years in the making…
He adds the new exhibit will surely take you back in time…
The Dickinson County Museum is located at the intersection of Highways 9 and 71 and Keokuk Avenue in Spirit Lake.
