(Jackson, Mn.)– Family Services Network in Jackson County will be holding their annual Coats for Kids distribution Tuesday (10/21) and Wednesday (10/22) at the Jackson County Library. Judy Miller, the Coats for Kids coordinator, talks about the program…
“Every year we do a winter apparel distribution for Jackson area residents. We have snow pants, coats, hats, gloves and sometimes we have a few pairs of boots. Normally we send letters out for in need families that we are aware of. This year we are opening it up to anyone who needs the coats.”
This year Miller says they are opening it up to anyone in need of winter clothing…
“Our goal is to make sure that all of the children infant through high school have the needed winter apparel to get through Minnesota winters. We do give some, if there’s an adult that need them, we will certainly try to help them also.”
There will be two distribution days at the Jackson County Library in Jackson. The first will be Tuesday October 21st from 9:00 to 5:30 and Wednesday October 22nd from 8:30 to 2:00. If you cannot make it during those two times you can call 507-847-4441 and they will take your information and deliver what you need.
