(Spencer)– Authorities in Clay County are asking for the public’s assistance into the investigation of a hit-and-run. They say it took place in the early morning of September 25th. A black vehicle, possibly a 2003 or 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander, hit a fence, a fence post, and a real estate sign in the 2000 mile of 360th Street, or the Menard’s blacktop, then took off.
Deputies say the vehicle is believed to have sustained damage to its front passenger bumper, front passenger head light and front or rear passenger side window.
