(Primghar)– One person was injured this past weekend in a single vehicle crash near Granville.
The O’Brien County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Angel (on-hell) Zuniga of Denison lost control of a 2002 Volkswagen Jet while traveling north on Nettle Avenue. Authorities say the Zuniga over-corrected after the vehicle drifted onto the right shoulder, causing it to cross the center line. The vehicle then left the road and went into the west ditch and traveled over a driveway embankment, striking a tree before coming to rest.
Zuniga was taken by ambulance to the Sheldon hospital.
The crash took place around 6:30 pm Sunday.
