(Primghar) According to a criminal complaint filed with the O’Brien County Clerk of Court’s Office, 32-year-old Matthew Chindlund of Primghar is accused of possession of controlled substances for a third time. He was arrested on Wednesday. Chindlund was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and a THC vape pen. Chindlund had been playing loud music from inside his garage with the garage door open, and was accused of walking into traffic and stopping cars. Chinlund was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, third or subsequent offense, a class D felony. If convicted, he could face up to five years in prison on each count. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct. A preliminary hearing is set for October 3rd. Chindlund is being held in the O’brien County Jail.
