(Sibley)– Voters in the Sibley-Ocheyedan Community School District head to the polls Tuesday (Sept. 9th) to vote on a school infrastructure tax.
The measure calls for the district to collect up to $1.34 per $1,000 of assessed property valuations, along with an income surtax of up to 20 percent of a resident’s state income tax.
The revenue would go toward upkeep of facilities and equipment.
Polls will be open Tuesday from 7:00 am until 8:00 pm.
