(Spencer)– Spencer Municipal Utilities will be conducting some additional hydrant flushing next week, this time in the southern part of the city. SMU officials say the flushing will take place in neighborhoods south of the Little Sioux River beginning Monday, August 18th and continuing through Friday, September 5th.
Residents in that area of Spencer are being told to put in their basement sewer plugs. SMU says residents in that area could also experience temporary low water pressure and some discoloration while the flushing is taking place in their area.
