(Jackson, Mn.)– The Jackson City Council has approved funding for several community service organizations in recognition of the services they provide to the city and its residents.
The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce received $14,000; $9,000 went to the Fort Belmont Foundation; the Jackson Softball Association was awarded $4,000; the Jackson Center for the Arts and the Jackson Food Shelf each received $8,000; and $10,000 was allocated for the Jackson Cemetery Association.
The council will also consider an additional donation to the Jackson Community Education program at its August 19th meeting.
