(Undated)– Some local entities will share in $530,000 in grants awarded through the Alliant Energy Foundation. The city of Milford was awarded $500 for a children’s summer reading program and Iowa Lakes Community College is the recipient of $2,000 for scholarships.
To date in 2025, the Alliant Energy Foundation has awarded nearly $1.3 million, with one grant cycle in the year remaining.
Grants are awarded for projects that focus on community safety and engagement, environmental stewardship, workforce readiness along with hunger and housing.
