(Sheldon)– A traffic stop in Sheldon Tuesday resulted in the arrest of a Jackson, Minnesota man on drug charges. 42-year-old Kody Johnson was charged with drug trafficking, a class “B” felony, along with misdemeanor counts of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and driving under the influence.
In a criminal complaint, the officer says Johnson was stopped on suspicion of driving without a license and an equipment violation. The officer says Johnson’s vehicle smelled of marijuana and that Johnson told him that he may have some marijuana.
The complaint also stated that a passenger allegedly had a bag with six grams of methamphetamine in her pants. The officer says she showed him a message that Johnson was selling the meth to her.
