(Spirit Lake)– A new general surgeon is joining Northwest Iowa Surgeons.
Benjamin Branigan, M.D., will begin seeing patients at the beginning of August. He recently moved to the lakes area after completing his general surgical residency in Des Moines at Unity Point Iowa Methodist Hospital. Dr. Branigan grew up in Omaha and spent summers in the Iowa Great Lakes as a child. He received his undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Biology from Creighton University in Omaha, where he also received his medical degree.
Dr. Branigan joins general surgeons Jeffre Helmink, M.D., Jason Keonin, M.D., Jaren Ricker, M.D., and Patrick Slattery, M.D.
