(Estherville)– A longstanding Fourth of July tradition will be held tomorrow (Fri.) in Estherville. Lexie Ruter, Director of the Estherville Chamber of Commerce, tells KUOO news the annual Flight Breakfast will be taking place at the Estherville Airport…
“So we have pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausages with a variety of beverages out at the airport, and then we also have live music from the Northwest Iowa Jazz Band, we have free inflatables for the kids and other activities for the children. We’ve got tons of planes and helicopters that will fly in all morning, including some commercial planes and helicopters that you can go take a look at and talk with their pilots. And then we’ll just have a ton of fun things planned for families. It’s a great day to come out to kick off on your Fourth of July. We’re out there from 7:00 am until 11:00 am at the Estherville Municipal Airport. Our breakfast is a great fundraiser for the Chamber to let us keep doing all the great things we do for the Estherville community.”
The cost is $10 for adults and kids 12 and over; $5 for children 4 to 11, with children under three being admitted free. This marks the 76th year for the Estherville Flight Breakfast.
