(May City)– A single vehicle crash this past Sunday evening just southwest of May City sent two people to the hospital.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office says 18-year-old Alia Howlader of Owatonna, Minnesota was driving a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox when she failed to negotiate a curve. The vehicle left the road and struck an embankment.
Two passengers, Madison Mahlum of Owatonna and Ayala Lopez of May City were taken to the Sheldon hospital.
The vehicle was totaled. The crash took place around 8:45 pm.
