(Spirit Lake)– A recent fundraiser for the Lakes Area Museum Alliance is being described as a big success. Mary Dreier, recently retired director of the Dickinson County Museum and president of the alliance, says ticket sales for the event brought in $3,000. A grant from the Spirit of Okoboji Foundation helped pay the cost of a professional chef who prepared the meal for the event. The Spirit of Okoboji Foundation also helped match ticket sales, which brought the total amount raised for LAMA to $6,000.
