(Milford)– The Milford City Council Monday evening unanimously approved a request from the Okoboji Community Schools to voluntarily annex land on which the new elementary school is being constructed into city limits. The land, at the northwest corner of the intersection of County Road A-34 and 213th Avenue is currently in the county. As Anderson referenced, the council, in separate action, unanimously approved a request for voluntary annexation of an acreage just west of the new elementary school site. It, too, followed a public hearing that drew no comment.

The vote granting the approval with the contingency was unanimous.
