(Spirit Lake) The Pearson Lakes Art Center now offers culinary classes which according to Culinary Arts Director Jean Quinn, is still a relatively new offering.
“I have been in this position for about a year and a half to two years. They did have a huge remodel before I arrived and it just has really evolved into a very busy, well, diverse set of culinary classes.”
There will also be some wine classes offered.
“Jennifer Tritel Oatsman from Okoboji Wines is going to be leading these two classes and the first one is Sunshine in a Glass and she’s going to mention and have us try some really great summer wines and you can purchase wines after class directly from her. And then later in the summer she’s going to have a cocktail class. It’s all wine based cocktails so it’s very related to what she works with all the time.”
