(Peterson)– The Clay County Sheriff’s Office has released details into a crash May 18th involving an all-terrain-vehicle that sent two people to the hospital.
Authorities say 35-year-old Joel Rieck of Hartley was driving a 2024 Polaris eastbound near Peterson when he lost control of the ATV which rolled into a ditch. Rieck and a passenger, Kelsie Rieck, also of Hartley, were taken to Spencer Hospital for treatment of possible injuries.
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says the crash remains under investigation and that charges are pending.
The ATV sustained an estimated $4,000 in damage.
