Arnolds Park Amusement Park Opens This Saturday (May 17th) For Its 136th Season

(Arnolds Park)– The Arnolds Park Amusement Park opens for the season this Saturday, May 17th. CEO Jon Pausley says visitors will notice some big changes before they even walk through the main gate…

“You’re going to see when you come in a whole new entry to the coaster and the Tipsy House. That’s been a huge project that’s been going on all season here and we’re getting ready to be able to unveil that and that should be a great opportunity for us to show everybody the re-structured Tipsy House. It’s going to be a lot of fun. You’ll be able to come through the front entry and then we’re going to be able to showcase on the inside of the park a new ride, a brand new ride, called Boji Drop. It’s a 35 foot spinning drop tower. It’s going to be a great time for people to come in and enjoy. Then following that we’re going to be able to walk to the back of the park and see 10 brand new bumper cars that are going to be there as well. So a lot of new stuff. And then as you go over to the go-cart track you’re going to see an all new fleet of electric go-carts at the go-car track. So a huge investment into the park this last year as far as rides and attractions go and we haven’t even started talking about concerts yet. That part’s going to be be amazing as well.”

When it comes to that, Pausley says the Live at The Lakes Concert Series at Preservation Plaza will kick off May 31st. He says a premium series of ticketed concerts will also be held through the summer…

“Rock ‘n Roll and even a National Rock Hall of Fame, Foreigner, putting on a concert for us. All the details can be found at Arnoldspark.com. We can’t wait to get this summer started.”

This summer will mark the 136th season at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park.
