(Spencer)– We are closing in on the one year anniversary of a disaster that would forever change portions of Spencer. It was June 21st, 2024, that massive flooding would overtake the city, which continues to recover and re-build.
Eli Alger of the band Faster Horses was the opening act for Trace Adkins at last year’s Clay County Fair. Alger says he saw the devastation through a video and was inspired to do something to help.
