(Spirit Lake)– The Dickinson County Treasurer’s Office and Driver’s License Station will be closed to the public this coming Tuesday, May 6th and will reopen Wednesday, May 7th. Treasurer Kris Rowley says staff will be attending mandatory training with the Iowa Department of Transportation.
Rowley also again reminds everyone that May 7th is the day that REAL ID goes into effect. A REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card or a U.S Passport will be needed to board domestic commercial flights as well as to enter most federal buildings, military bases and installations or nuclear facilities. Appointments can be scheduled with the Dickinson County Driver’s License Station by calling 336-6333, option 4.
