(Milford)– More road work is about to get underway in Milford. City officials say a block of 9th Street from N Avenue to Highway 71 will be closed starting this coming Monday, May 5th, for the replacement of utilities, pavement and sidewalk. The street will be closed in that area until mid-July, dependent upon the weather.
They add that patrons of the Milford Public Library will need to access the facility by using the east door. Those wanting to use the drive-up at the Post Office will need to use the alley off 10th Street.
County Road A-34, or 13th Street in Milford, is also closed to through traffic for the next several weeks as crews put the finishing touches on that project that got underway last year.
