(Spencer)– Minor injuries were reported Thursday in a collision in Clay county.
The Sheriff’s Office says 71-year-old Gerald Sundall of Terril was driving a 2011 Chevrolet Equinox eastbound in the 3100 mile of Highway 18. The vehicle crossed the centerline and collided with a 2023 Kenworth semi pulling a grain trailer, driven by 61-year-old Neil Hansen of Whittemore.
The vehicle driven by Sundall was totaled; the semi sustained an estimated $5,000 in damage. The collision took place shortly after 5:30 am.
