Final Defendant In Armstrong Corruption Case Sentenced

April 17, 2025 Steve Schwaller

(Armstrong)– A former City Clerk in Armstrong has been sentenced to three years of probation. Traci Lang had previously pled guilty to felonious misconduct in office and falsifying public records. Four other counts were dismissed as part of a plea deal. Lang must also pay more than $1,500 in fines and court costs.

Lang was one of six former city officials in Armstrong that were arrested and charged in a scandal back in 2021. She was the last to reach a plea deal.

The arrests were made in 2021 following an investigation into misappropriation of funds and falsification of records.
