“We have our hall of fame event every other year and its really fun for us to get to honor those people who really do outstanding contributions to our music department.”
Ayres talks about how people can be nominated…
“People nominate them through the website and then we have a committee that evaluates and votes and if they’ve been nominated before we keep them in the pool and so that website is open all the time so if you think you’d like to nominate someone please do that.”
That website is iowalakes.edu/music and then its under the Music Hall of Fame Selection. You can still buy a ticket to attend the Hall of Fame event. Tickets are $25 an can be purchased at iowalkes.ticketleap.com. No tickets will be sold at the door.
