(Milford)– We could know soon whether or not Highway 71 through Milford will be converted from four lanes to three.
The City Council this (Mon.) evening will discuss results of a study by the Iowa Department of Transportation and will review input from an online survey along with comments given at a recent informational event. Officials say the comments at that time were about evenly divided on whether or not to make the change. After reviewing the information, the city council this (Mon.) evening will consider whether or not to adopt a resolution that would allow the conversion to three lanes to take place.
The Milford City Council convenes at 6:30 pm in the Community Center Board Room.
