Investigation Into Suspicious Activity In Milford Results In Drug Arrests

(Milford)– An investigation into suspicious activity Saturday evening in Milford resulted in the arrests of two people on drug charges.

In a press release, Milford Police Chief Shilo Brevik says officers were called to the 1500 block of Okoboji Avenue around 6:44 pm. Upon arriving officers reported smelling marijuana and located the controlled substance in a vehicle.

20-year-old Aliya Crane of Crystal, Minnesota and 26-year-old Phillip Manz of Emmetsburg were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance-marijuana…1st offense. Crane was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance…psilocybin…1st offense.

The Arnolds Park and Okoboji Police Departments assisted in the investigation.
