Suspicious Person Investigation Leads To Arrest Of Lake Park Man

March 04, 2025 Steve Schwaller

(Heron Lake, Mn.)– An investigation into a report of a suspicious person in Jackson county this past Friday resulted in the arrest of a Lake Park man.

The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person who had walked up to a rural residence in Heron Lake township on Friday. The homeowners reported that the male was acting odd and giving them evasive answers to their questions.  When deputies arrived the person in question gave them a false name and therefore was arrested.

After further investigation the male was identified as 42 year old Christopher McNab from Lake Park, IA. McNab was wanted by the Windom police department for 3rd degree criminal sexual assault and is being held in the Cottonwood county jail.
