(Truman, Mn.)– Authorities in southern Minnesota are looking for a man wanted in a shooting Thursday evening in Truman.

Martin County Sheriff Jeff Markquart says deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance a little after 6:00 pm and found a female that had been shot in the chest with a pistol. Through an investigation authorities were able to determine a suspect. They’re looking for 33-year-old Kyle Jonathan Liford. He’s believed to be driving a 2002 Green Chevy Tahoe with a Minnesota license plate of NVU 782. Anyone with information on Liford’s whereabouts should contact the Martin County Sheriff’s Office at 507-238-4481.

The woman who was shot was taken to a local hospital. There’s been no word on her condition.
