(Milford)– Officials say if you’ve been running water to prevent frozen pipes, you need to keep doing it, even though temperatures have warmed up significantly.
Officials with Milford Municipal Utilities put out a statement this (Monday) morning saying that actually it is more important NOW to keep it running. They say as the air temperature rises, the frost actually goes further into the ground, making it more likely for lines and pipes to freeze.
