(Spencer)– A child care market study is underway in Spencer. The Spencer Economic Development Corporation, or SEDC, has contracted with First Children’s Finance to complete the study, which is underway through March 10th.
The study will gauge the supply and demand for child care. Input will be gathered from parents with children ages 12 or younger and are using child care or want to use child care in Spencer. Local child care providers and employers are also being asked to give input. You can find a link to the survey by clicking here.
The study is made possible in part through a grant from the Empower Rural Iowa Initiative through the Iowa Economic Development Authority.
