(Arnolds Park)– We’re learning some additional details into the arrest of an Arnolds Park man earlier this week. As we reported previously, Lorenzo Eugene Shaw III was arrested on multiple drug charges, several of them felonies, after a search warrant was executed on his residence. Authorities seized 33.9 grams of cocaine, nearly $3,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia.
We’ve learned the Okoboji, Spirit Lake and Estherville Police Departments and the Dickinson County Sheriff’s Office assisted the Arnolds Park Police Department in making the arrest. Shaw was booked into jail on a $100,000 bond.
A press release from the Arnolds Park Police Department says the arrest was the result of a years-long investigation involving several search warrants, criminal subpoenas and other legal processes. It states that as a result of the ongoing investigations authorities are actively pursuing leads that will result in additional arrests.
