(Estherville)– They’ll be jazzing things up next week at Iowa Lakes Community College.
The 2025 Jazz Band Contest will be held January 23rd and 24th at the Janice K. Lund Performing Arts Center at the Estherville Campus. The event will feature high school jazz bands from throughout the region competing in divisions 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A with trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place being awarded in each division. Classes 1A and 2A will compete January 23rd and 3A and 4A January 24th. Individual Excellence Awards will be presented for outstanding soloists. On-stage clinics will be conducted by expert judges.
The event is free and open to the public.
