(Algona)– A crash Monday evening in Kossuth county involving a car and a semi claimed the life of a Webster City man.
The Iowa State Patrol says 51-year-old Andres Exposito of Webster City was driving a 2009 Ford Edge westbound in the 1700 block of 210th Street east of Algona when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a semi driven by 46-year-old Daniel Murray, Jr. of Webster City.
Exposito died in the crash; Murray was taken by ambulance to the Algona hospital.
The collision took place a little after 7:00 pm. Troopers say it remains under investigation.
